Submissions are OPEN IN ALL GENRES From NOW UNTIL 5/1/21!

All submissions should be inspired by a preceding piece that appears on Breadcrumbs, and can take any format. If the work is a short fiction or non fiction, please keep it to a 2,000 word maximum, as longer works will not be accepted. Previously published works and unsolicited submissions that do not fit these guidelines will not be accepted. Art, illustration, and photography will be accepted year round.

If you were not solicited directly by one of our guest editors, please send all work by email to submissions@breadcrumbsmag.com. Be sure to include your name, a short bio, your twitter and Instagram handles, and the number of the Breadcrumb that inspired you. Please send .doc or .docx files, as we will not accept pdfs. Please format your subject line as such: [GENRE SUBMISSION] - [LAST NAME] - [NUMBER OF BREADCRUMB IT'S INSPIRED BY]. Any submission sent in without this format will be sent back unread.

If you have been solicited by one of our guest editors in any genre, please send your submission email directly to their personal contact info.

All accepted work will be published sans title, instead appearing as a number, in the spirit of the publication. You retain all rights to your work, we simply ask is that, if a piece is republished, you mention that it appeared here first. We also request that you allow us to keep your work in our archives forever. That being said, we're all volunteer based and unfortunately can't offer compensation at this time.
