Breadcrumb #333

March 23, 2018 by Bob Raymonda

CLAIRE ZAJDEL

if we pulled
the thread out,
would the dress still
fit, if
we stopped
spinning,
would we
stand straight

on our tongues,
the bitter taste of
uncertainty cuts our gums
like the wisdom teeth
not yet pulled—our

youth marked—a
manifestation of
no one knowing
anything at all.
